Nabila Alibhai is a Kenyan public health and resilience planner turning her focus toward social practice art and urban design as pivots for improving health, safety and cultivating pluralism.

Prior to founding limeSHIFT, an art innovation consulting company, and inCOMMONS an organization focused on civic leadership and urban design, she worked for the AKDN, the UN, and IOM in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kenya, Switzerland and the US.  She was a recent fellow in MIT’s Special Program in Urban and Regional Affairs where she focused on building community solidarity through urban design. She has an MPH from Yale University and is trained in conflict resolution.
